1. The Short Version
Most of what we hold on you is what you give us directly — your name, contact details, and whatever you tell us about what you’re looking for. We also use Google Analytics and Google Ads, which means some technical data — pages visited, device type, approximate location, and some cookie-based data used for ad tracking — gets collected automatically too. We use all of this to respond to your inquiries, show you relevant listings, connect you with a developer or CA where you’ve asked for that, understand how the Platform is performing, and run our advertising. We don’t sell your data, and we don’t share it beyond what’s needed for those purposes. The rest of this policy spells out exactly how.
2. Who This Applies To
This Privacy Policy covers Gift2Invest.com (the “Platform,” “we,” “us,” “our”) and applies to anyone who visits the site, submits an inquiry, registers an account, or otherwise interacts with us in connection with GIFT City real estate — including NRI and OCI users based outside India.
3. What We Collect
Some of this comes from you directly. When you submit an inquiry, register, or contact our team, that’s typically your name, email address, phone number, and whatever details you share about what you’re looking for — budget range, zone preference, IFSC/SEZ or DTA interest, residential or commercial, that kind of thing.
Some of it comes in automatically through Google Analytics and Google Ads — the tools we use to understand site usage and run our advertising. That includes things like your approximate location at a city or country level, device and browser type, pages viewed, time spent, how you arrived at the site, and whether you clicked through from one of our ads. More on this in Section 5.
Occasionally, information comes from elsewhere. If a developer, or a CA we’ve referred you to, shares something back with us about your interaction with them, we may hold that too — but only in connection with the inquiry you initiated.
We don’t knowingly collect financial account numbers, government ID numbers, or similarly sensitive information through the Platform itself. Where a transaction needs that kind of detail, it happens directly between you and the relevant developer, bank, or professional — not through us.
4. Why We Collect It
- To respond to your inquiries and match you with relevant GIFT City listings
- To connect you with a developer, or with a chartered accountant, when you’ve asked for that referral
- To measure how our Google Ads campaigns are performing, and to show our ads to people likely to be interested in GIFT City property
- To send you updates if you’ve opted in, and to stop sending them the moment you opt out
- To meet our own legal and record-keeping obligations
That’s the full list. We’re not building a profile of you to sell or share with anyone outside Google’s advertising tools, and we’re not selling access to your inbox.
5. Cookies and Advertising Technology
We use Google Analytics to understand overall site usage, and Google Ads to run our advertising campaigns and measure how they’re performing. Both tools rely on cookies — small files placed in your browser that let Google recognise repeat visits and, for Google Ads specifically, track whether someone who saw or clicked one of our ads went on to submit an inquiry.
Google Ads may also use this to show you our ads again after you’ve visited the Platform — a practice generally called remarketing. If you’d rather not see personalised ads from us or anyone else, Google’s Ads Settings page lets you control that directly, and most browsers let you block or clear cookies at the browser level.
We don’t control how Google itself uses this data beyond running our campaigns — their own privacy policy governs that, and it’s worth a look if you want the full picture of how Google Analytics and Google Ads work behind the scenes.
6. Who We Share Data With
Developers and sellers, when you’ve specifically asked to be connected to a listing or inquired about a project. We pass along only what’s relevant to that inquiry.
Chartered accountants we refer you to, only if you’ve asked for that referral. What happens between you and them afterward is covered by our Terms & Conditions, not this policy — we’re not a party to it.
Service providers who help us run the Platform itself: hosting, email delivery, and Google, through Analytics and Ads, for site usage insights and advertising. They’re bound to use your data only for the service they’re providing us, not for their own purposes.
Authorities, where the law actually requires it — a court order, a regulatory request, something along those lines. We won’t hand over data just because someone asks.
Outside of those four situations, we don’t share your personal information with anyone. No data brokers, no ad networks beyond Google, none of that.
7. How Long We Keep It
We keep inquiry and account data for as long as it’s useful to you and to us — generally, for as long as you’re an active user, plus a reasonable window afterward in case you come back or a transaction is still resolving. If you’d like something deleted sooner, see Section 8.
8. Your Rights
You can ask us to show you what personal data we hold on you, correct anything that’s wrong, or delete it outright. You can also withdraw consent for anything we’re doing on a consent basis, like marketing emails — that one’s as simple as clicking unsubscribe.
To make any of these requests, email us at the address in Section 12. We’ll respond within a reasonable timeframe, and we may need to verify your identity first, simply to make sure we’re not handing your data to someone impersonating you.
If you’re in a jurisdiction with its own specific data protection framework — the EU’s GDPR, for instance — you may have additional rights under that law. Those apply alongside, not instead of, what’s written here.
9. NRI and International Users
A large share of our audience is based outside India — UAE, US, UK, and elsewhere. If you’re contacting us from abroad, your information is collected and processed in India, under Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act. By using the Platform, you’re consenting to that processing. If your local law requires something additional before your data can be transferred, let us know and we’ll work through it with you directly.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the data we hold — encryption in transit, access controls, that kind of thing. No system is completely immune to a breach, and we can’t promise perfect security. What we can promise is that we take it seriously and will tell you if something goes wrong that affects your data.
11. Children’s Privacy
The Platform isn’t directed at anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has given us personal information, contact us and we’ll remove it.

We’ll update this policy as our practices, our tools, or the law change. When we do, we’ll post the revised version here with a new “Last updated” date. For anything material — a real change in how we use your data, not just a wording tweak — we’ll flag it more visibly, not just bury it in a date change.
